AC Technician

Westgate Resorts, the world's largest privately held timeshare company, is currently seeking an AC Tech to join our Engineering Dept team.

The AC Tech will be responsible for the following:

Responsible for all Kitchen and Main Facility equipment.
Responsible to repair, replace and maintain various type of HVAC units within the property.
Work and document a preventative maintenance program.
Repack pumps and compressors, clean condensers, replace worn or defective parts.
Change out air conditioning filters, discarding the old ones, replacing with new filters, labeling new filter prior to installation.
Maintain air handler closets regularly.
Clean evaporator and condenser coils regularly.
Leave work area in safe, neat clean condition.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal applicant for the AC Tech position must posses: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
AC Certification is not required, but would be a plus.
