Vice President of Purchasing

POSITION SCOPE: Work with the purchasing department staff to determine inventory lines and maintain an adequate stock of inventory for all owned locaitons. Also determine supply sources for supplies and equipment, then maintain a running stock of standard usage and special needs materials to meet the operating needs of the business.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, logistics or related field
5-7 years in a progressive healthcare purchasing environment, with 3 years in a management position
Experience in purchasing Infusion Equipment
Strong supervisory skills
Proven ability to manage during rapid growth, including strategic planning and budgeting experience
Ability to build excellent relationships with suppliers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to identify, improve, implement and evaluate purchasing procedures
Ability to get to the job site
Ability to work under stressful conditions

QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred
MBA in business administration
