Position Summary
Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, a progressive, growth oriented and fast paced organization, located in Poughkeepsie, New York, is in search of a dynamic, highly motivated, strategic marketing executive, reporting to the President/CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for credit union-wide marketing operations, developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan, including product development, positioning, segmentation, pricing, promotions (media relations, advertising, direct mail and newsletters) and public relations.

Approaching $2 billion in assets, Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) is a full service not-for-profit financial cooperative, offering our more than 173,000 members real estate and consumer loans, deposit accounts, and investment services. Members can access the credit union through 13 branch locations and 42 ATMs, bank-by-mail, MAGIC, and internet banking. Many of our current members have been with us since our inception in 1963. As a community chartered credit union, anyone who lives, works, worships, and volunteers or attends school in Dutchess, Ulster or Orange County is eligible for membership. From fundraising walks and refurbishing homes in need of some TLC, to sponsoring community events, HVFCU is working to improve the quality of life for our friends and neighbors in the Hudson Valley.

Compensation
A compensation package consisting of base salary and benefits will be structured to meet the needs of the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate will have an extensive background in market research and segmentation and possess excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills, including outstanding presentation, verbal and written abilities with the skill to effectively represent the credit union in the community and industry. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field coupled with five plus years senior level marketing management experience required, MBA highly desirable.
