Reporting to the CEO This VP of Engineering will be responsible for:
Developing Global Product Development Strategies.Assuring that the Product Development Group is "Customer Focused" and drive the effort to develop New Innovations.Interface with Customers Domestically and Internationally (i.e. North America, Europe & China).Interface with Leaders/Customers in the Computer, Medical Device, Automotive and other industries.keywords: fastners, product development, vice president, engineering
REQUIREMENTSBSME or similar Engineering Degree, MSME & MBA preferred.Broad Engineering experience with Design, Product Development and Manufacturing of high volume precision components (particularly cold headed, cold forged or stamped products).Experience with Engineering System Implementation , including Document Control.Strong Interpersonal skills, including listening and communication skills.Team Player/Team Builder, High Energy, Flexible, People Oriented individual with Strong Engineering skills & Hands On Personality.Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience.Experience mentoring and developing other engineers. Please indicate if you have experience with COLD FORGED OR STAMPED PRODUCTS or experience with FASTENERS. This is highly desired!
