Vice President, Information Technology

Challenging opportunity to provide executive leadership to IT operations and services with an emphasis on customer satisfaction with the world's largest Christian outreach to prisoners and their families. Prison Fellowship (www.pfm.org), located in Northern Virginia, was founded in 1976 and works with churches and volunteers throughout the US to conduct Christian oriented programs in correctional facilities in all 50 states and to reach out to the children of prisoners by providing camping and mentoring opportunities and Christmas gifts. The Board of Directors for Prison Fellowship and its internal executive leadership team is committed to state-of-the-art information technology systems to serve its internal and external customers and constituents.Responsibilities include developing strategic and operational plans and budget for control, management and improvement of IT capabilities, ensuring alignment with Prison Fellowship's goals and objectives and providing cross-divisional consultation to assure that reliable services that meet constituent needs are current and that future IT needs are provided, improved and replaced as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements include a BA/BS in computer science or business; a minimum of 7-10 years of business management experience including the management of IT operations to include team building, strategic planning and budgeting and personnel development. Must have strong project management and network systems background; database experience; excellent relational skills and a proven knowledge of leading-edge technologies such as e-business, network solutions, telecommunications and knowledge management. Other preferred experience includes knowledge of NT/2003, .NET; VoIP; Cisco; VPN; web-based technology applications and server-based systems. Field experience is a plus.
