Vice President

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The VP/Department Head;

Develops overall vision and standards for account strategies and Visa resource deployment within multiple business lines and segments for one of Visa´s largest members
Leads and provides strategic direction to the Account Executive staff in multiple geographic locations pertaining to debit, operations/risk/fraud, commercial and government product lines.
Recommends, develops and implements new and creative approaches to the business working to build momentum both within Visa and with the membership
Operates as a recognized expert on general business issues affecting the acceptance and usage of the brand

Secondary Job Responsibilities:
The VP/Department Head;

Provides senior level on site support for account team staff based in Charlotte
Acts as a champion for the customer within Visa while always focusing on Visa's strategic objectives. Makes well-researched recommendations that are critical to the attainment of corporate goals. The individual seeks out and is selected to participate in special taskforces/project teams


REQUIREMENTS:

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 10 years of sales experience with a strong preference for a consulting background including sales and delivery of service based/consulting products
Strong knowledge of financial aspects of contracts and general business operations
Knowledge of the payments industry and Visa products and services desired along with experience in one or more non-financial industry verticals such as but not limited to manufacturing, high tech, or retail.
Demonstrated leadership qualities managing large direct report and matrixed teams and the ability to develop people to their full potential
Extensive relationship development skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking and presentation development are a must
