Manager of Statistical Modeling

Texas Energy Company is looking for a Manager of Statistical Modeling to design, develop, and execute key quantitative projects to increase retention, acquisition, renewal, and winback efficiency & effectiveness.



Responsibilities

* Analyzing massive amounts of customer data and associated predictive variables.

* Applying a wide variety of advanced statistical, mathematical, operations research, and market research techniques to complicated processes for modeling, forecasting, profiling, and other complex analytical problems.

* Managing and developing at least one direct report.

* Providing leadership in developing and executing multivariate predictive modeling relative to current and prospective customers.

* Performing comprehensive campaign performance evaluations including: profiling responders & non-responders, calculating channel effectiveness, determining overall campaign profitability, and developing response models on acquisition, retention, winback and renewal campaign results.
REQUIREMENTS


Requirements

* Experience in campaign test design by utilizing experimental design / test cell design techniques to evaluate various marketing channel strategies, commodity and non-commodity products, incentives, and price points.

* BS or MS degrees in quantitative fields (math, engineering, statistics, econometrics, etc.)

* 5+ years work-related experience (database marketing, statistical modeling, decision analytics, etc.)

* Very strong SAS (PC & Unix), multivariate modeling / survival analysis / decision trees / cluster analysis / etc skills.
