SalesBuilder is looking for a strong hands-on leader for our technology group that can drive the evolution of our successful online web service. With over 150 companies depending on our service for real-time customer engagement, the stakes are high, and the company is growing rapidly by living up to those expectations.


VP of Technology

As the architect for the ongoing development of the system, your responsibilities would include:
•Ensuring real-time 100% availability for the customer engagement and profiling system.
•Continuing the growth of our analytics and behavior analysis.
•Maintaining our automated testing suites.
•Always looking at new architectures and technologies.
•And evaluating partnerships and 3rd party technology.

As the hands-on leader, not only would you be responsible for recruiting the right team(s), always looking to question the status quo and looking for better ways to deliver our service, to build our architecture, and to continually optimizing the usability of the platform.

We're looking for someone with experience in running real-time online web sites with high transaction volumes and a heavy focus on analytics. Someone who was working for a startup company who is ready for his or her next project. Someone with a passion for building successful businesses and a passion for solving customer's business problems.

Skills:
•Expert in MySQL / Oracle or equiv DB
•PHP/ Perl / Apache Expert
•Object Oriented Programming / MVC Architectures
•Advanced Caching and Publishing Architectures
•Data Warehousing (Star-Schemas, OLAP)
•Extreme Programming (XP), CVS, Test-Driven Development, Junit
•AJAX and Flash experience a plus
•High-Transaction Volume Real-Time Web Systems
•Startup Experience (fast-paced, changing priorities, 100% commitment to quality)
