VP of Sales - OEM & Dealer Channel

Business Unit: GE MoneyFunction: SalesResponsibilities: Build and lead an excellent strategic and tactical sales force.Provide vision and assist in the definition of long and short-term strategies.Develop a sales strategy and methodology to effectively identify prospective clients, define client needs, create and propose solutions to those needs.Develop a sales process, programs and related infrastructure to deliver a qualified pipeline of business opportunities, a predictable revenue forecasts for the company and position the company appropriately in the market.Direct sales function by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.Maintain full P & L responsibility for all Sales functions.As member of senior management, provide consulting support in areas of expertise.Assist in the development of product offerings.Represent Auto Warranty Services at relevant industry conferences and trade shows.~HJ~~NW~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent as follows:At least 7 years of outside sales experience or business development.A motivating leadership style coupled with high integrity and a reputation for delivering.Excellent relationship building, negotiations and closing skills.Proven track record in building a world-class sales force and history of exceeding performance targets in a high-tech environment.Strong oral, written and presentational skills coupled with well-developed, problem solving and interpersonal skills.Strong prospecting, selling, management and relationship building skills in a numbers driven model selling Vehicle Service Contracts.Intellectual curiosity and rigor, precision and business logic.Highly organized with close attention to detail.Desired: Experience in the Auto industry (leasing, dealerships, lending, service contracts, etc.) or in a General Electric sales role.General: Overall responsibility for both OEM and Dealer channel Sales.Responsible for the development and execution of overall sales strategies including formalizing strategies aimed at maximizing revenues in key segments.Leads the AWS sales teams and requires both strategic and hands on capabilities.Work closely with Product Development and Account Management towards creating collateral, lead generation strategies and event participation.Work closely with other departments to develop alternative marketing and sales channels and closely integrate teaming arrangements with industry partners including application and technology providers.In conjunction with Actuary, Risk and Product Development, formulate pricing strategy and position products or services to achieve maximum sales potential.Assess new market segments and make recommendations on optimal partnerships and appropriate deal structures.
