VP of Sales

Your High-Level Toy Sales Experience is Needed!

The VP of Sales must Develop, implement and manage national account’s corporate sales strategy to achieve sales and profit goals. Toy sales experience preferred.

REQUIREMENTS
The Qualifications of the VP of Sales are as Follows:
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of five years of sales management experience and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
TOY INDUSTRY experienced candidates are preferred.

The Responsibilities of the VP of Sales are as Follows:
Manage Sales and Sales Administration Managers manage budget and personnel to maximize sales efforts.
Create and implement sales plans to maximize overall corporate sales and profit goals.
Hire and manage the Sales Representative organizations. Create, communicate and monitor sales goals for the Sales Managers the Sales Representatives.
Teach and train the Sales Managers to improve their skills and prepare them for the next level.
Interface with Marketing to create an effective mix of production, which can increase sales. Interface with operations to maximize effective production and shipping of product.
Interface with Finance to maximize profit margin in conjunction with maximizing sales volume.
Develop, negotiate, and implement sales programs for the National Accounts that will achieve sales and profit goals.
Maximize profitability with each Nation Account Travel to National Accounts with the Sales Representatives to insure maximization of sales program.
Interface with Marketing and Design to develop custom items for National accounts.
Interface with representatives to review plans, programs and sales results of Nation Accounts.

The VP of Sales will be a Key account manager for the following National Accounts:
Target, Wal-Mart, Kmart, ToysRUs, K-B, Meijer, Kay Bee, Mervyns, Pamida, Ames, Duck wall, May Co., Wards, Sears, JC Penney, Shopko. Develop sales plans for the key accounts.
