Are you ready for a challenging HR role that will allow you to be an impact 'team leader'? We seek an experienced 'HR Manager' to be a hands on problem solver and to develop & expand existing HR programs at corporate & facility levels.



CareOne has 26 Long Term Care/Sub-acute/Rehab facilities in NJ and we are growing our Regional Team, looking for a VP of Human Resources.
You will become a team member of an active and growing healthcare firm that has over 60 facility locations throughout the US, with over 30 years of experience.



To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in union & non-union management. You will need to be comfortable and successful in handling grievances and arbitration as well as supporting and educating managers and department heads in addressing discipline issues. The position has 2 direct regional HR reports and oversight on all NJ facility HR types.



This role is new to our organization so you will need to be able to design systems, policy and procedure for the HR department and to standardize practices across all centers so multi site experience is important to your success as well.



There is a diverse group of individuals in these centers and your ability to relate to everyone is key to your success. The ability to support/serve each facility and regard each complex as a separate & distinct business is important.



This positions is focused on labor relations; union and non union training and education, employee communications, retention activity and support to administrators and department heads in employee relation matters.
REQUIREMENTS
This is a new and exciting environment and if you enjoy 'no walls' and fantastic corporate support you will thrive in this position. An 'energetic entrepreneurial HR managerial type' is needed to succeed in this role.



You will need a strong background in supporting management as well as healthcare to be successful in the position.



Labor relations and multi-site experience a strong plus. Healthcare or similar experience strongly preferred.
