VP Marketing, Latino & CityWalk

Business Unit: NBC UniversalFunction: Theme ParksResponsibilities: The Vice President of Marketing, Latino & CityWalk is responsible for the strategic leadership of efforts to attract the Hispanic market, primarily in the local Los Angeles market. This includes developing the overall strategic and tactical plans for the theme park to drive Latino attendance and gain market share, as well as the management of all marketing activities for Universal CityWalk.Responsibilities include:
Develop programs that drive incremental attendance and increase Latino penetration for the theme park
Work with Latino advertising and media buying agencies to direct and review Spanish language creative and media plans
Solicit and execute all Latino, leveraged and non-leveraged media, retail, grocery QSR and packaged goods promotions in Southern California and key feeder markets
Team with other members of the Marketing and Sales team to ensure that programs being developed have appeal to the local Latino market
Lead the development of the CityWalk marketing strategy and tactical plans to drive increased visitation by the local market
Plan and lead development of CityWalk Special Events, especially those targeting the Latino community
Direct advertising activity for CityWalk, including review of creative and media plans
Forecast and budget resources necessary for initiatives
Seek new ways to target market through database and direct marketing initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with Spanish language TV, radio, and print outlets in all key markets to gain incremental media value and promotional opportunities
Team closely with Telemundo to develop events and initiatives to drive park and CityWalk attendance
Oversee the development of leveraged and non-leveraged media promotions
Fulfill and facilitate internal information requests on products
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: 7 plus years multi-cultural marketing, strategy, media, promotions, agency experience required
BA required
Bilingual Spanish/English required - written, reading, verbalEligibility Requirements:
