Database Marketing is responsible for creating and maintaining marketing databases for direct mail and other campaigns, and for purchasing all direct mail lists and alternate channel media for all Citi Cards Strategic Business Units (SBUs).  The group also partners with colleagues in Marketing Strategy, Credit Policy and Decision Management to help determine optimal program criteria.  Individuals in this group create, analyze and maintain marketing database resources used in the development of marketing programs.  They develop and design market database analysis programs to meet needs of product management in acquiring and warehousing customer information and demographics, establishing customer profiles, identifying potential markets and new opportunities.

 

This position is for a people manager who will be responsible for a wide variety of functions supporting database marketing and list processing programs for a key strategic partner, The Home Depot.  This position will manage multiple teams within multiple delivery channels, including both the Acquisitions and Existing Card Member (ECM) List Processing teams, supporting both the THD Private Label and CoBrand Card portfolios as well as Consumer and Commercial portfolios.  While this leadership position will be located in Atlanta, GA, it will also be responsible for managing in a "dual-site" environment given the teams are located in both Atlanta, GA and Dallas, TX.
REQUIREMENTS


B.S. or B.A. in Management Information Systems, Math/Statistics, Computer Science or related field.

5-10 years external or 3-8 years internal Citi Cards or other relevant work experience

Strong SQL and/or SAS skills

Excellent critical thinking skills

Expertise in relational database fundamentals.Unix or mainframe processing platforms experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independantly

Ability to conceptualize complex business problems



Financial services industry experience preferred
