VP Critical Systems / Americas

Job Description: Our client, a top tier investment bank is undergoing a search for a Vice President of Critical Systems for the Americas in their Corporate Services department. The individual will oversee the day to day operations of the critical systems infrastructure supporting the trading, business, and data center operations across the Americas.

Responsibilities include:
•Coordinating with the Global Head of Engineering and Critical Systems and regional counterparts in Europe and Asia to identify opportunities to enhance reliability and minimize risk.
•Managing the Onsite vendors providing facility management engineering operations services.
•Working with the IT department to supports and manage capacity in the various data centers, technology spaces, and trading environments.
•Ensure accurate and timely reporting of infrastructure capacity, data center utilization and overall operational performance.
•Coordinate with the Capital Projects and Technology to ensure that construction activity in live data center environments is performed correctly and without risk.Job Requirements
•BA/BS Required- Engineering/Facilities management preferred.

•15+ Yrs. Facilities Management experience with at least 10+ years with trading and data center operations.

•Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills necessary and ability to write reports, give presentations, and communicate technical information to senior management.

•Ability to lead a large team of specialty engineers and systems vendors.
