Unit Leader, Jr. Operations Officer Under the immediate direction of the Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banking Customer Service Officer, this position will provide outstanding customer service to commercial clients when responding to customer requests and processing requirements. Key functions will include ensuring that the customer service and new account processors are meeting designed service levels, serving as the immediate contact in the new account and wire processing departments in the commercial banking service unit for requests and problem resolution, and providing overall coordination and maintenance of account information. This position will be relied upon to provide the AVP with information for escalation of service issues; consistently support the commitment to compliance by adhering to all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and the Countrywide Bank's policies and procedures; and reporting all incidence of noncompliance to immediate manager.Requirements:

High school diploma (or equivalent) and some college coursework.

5+ years experience in the banking industry, whether at a commercial bank, thrift or credit union, including at least 3 years as a supervisor in commercial and real estate industry customer service with a large financial institution.

Previous experience in progressively responsible positions in Bank Operations, including positions at the supervisory level.

Specific banking experience supporting the Real Estate Industries, including Property Management and Homeowners Association; Title, Escrow and commercial services in new accounts and wire service operations; and related documentation knowledge.

Successful track record of providing stellar customer service while working in a team environment.

Knowledge of Bank Regulations, deposit systems, competitor practices and products, vendors and best industry practices.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Ability to effectively interact with management and customers.

Proficiency in Excel, Lotus Notes and Word.
