POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of Business Operations is directly responsible for managing the coordination of resources during the development phase of the sales lifecycle and providing presales support activities, including business assessments and RFX support. Senior Managers will also serve as liaisons between functional groups to implement projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications, in addition to supporting Directors with client profitability initiatives. Senior Managers are aligned with a specific vertical, but will have responsibility for providing support across verticals as required by the needs of the business. Senior Managers are responsible for coaching and developing the Business Operations Managers directly reporting to them.
This position requires very minimal supervision from senior management and is expected to perform well while working independently and leading a team.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with internal teams, and clients to provide input to proposals, business requirements, and Statements of Work. Support Directors in assessment engagements and client profitability initiatives.
Support and develops the Business Operations Managers
Manage the implementation of new projects:
Clearly and actively track communicate program requirements and status to clients and internal team members, including an executive audience.
Work with internal departments and clients to ensure tasks are completed on time and within identified budget and quality measures.
Consistently track and manage program timelines while coordinating the resolution of program changes, issues, and risks.
Track hours and expenses for program resources to ensure the program is within budget guidelines.
Facilitate post launch reviews to identify successes and opportunities for improvement.
Supports departmental improvements i.e. tools, templates, processesQUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS or equivalent experience
5-7 years Experience leading the implementation of medium to large scale projects. Capable of effectively facilitating meetings and developing detail oriented quality deliverables in support of the implementation of new projects.
5-7 years Experience managing people and facilitating teams
3-5 years Experience in the call center industry
Experience working with clients and communicating with senior level management
Experience with word processing software, spreadsheets, flowcharting applications, and project management software (MS Project, MS Office, Visio).
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of TeleTech's corporate procedures, company culture, and key players.
Project Management Certification, Process Improvement and Six Sigma Experience desirable.
Industry experience to align with vertical assignment desirable.
