Sr. Institutional Relationship Manager - VP
Employment Type: Regular Full/Part Time: Full Time Division: Investment Advisors Location: Nashville - Church Street, Nashville, TNGENERAL FUNCTION: The SR. Institutional Client Group RM is a local, affiliate-based position that owns the relationship with all clients. The incumbent strengthens the organization's relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives. The focus is on increasing account retention and revenues and on relieving portfolio managers, sales staff, and or product specialists of certain relationship management and administrative duties. The incumbent must have product expertise in all products (i.e. not- for- profit, RPS, Custody, etc.). Productivity Standard will be number of accounts and amount of revenue managed. Will be initial and primary local contact for client or Plan Sponsor issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working independently, maintains and enhances relationships with existing institutional clients.
Promotes investment product sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering investment strategy, account performance, new product, and market developments.
Works closely with sales, portfolio management, product specialist and/or client service staff to coordinate all marketing, sales, and support services for assigned institutional accounts.
Covers the smaller and mid-sized institutional clients/accounts.
Has a thorough understanding of the assigned accounts' requirements and develops programs to meet these requirements.
Work with Sales Support team to prepare answers to RFPs and other sales proposals.
The Institutional Relationship Manager sells and supports the sales process of Institutional Products and Services.
Works closely with the Institutional Sales Officers to provide creative solutions to sales opportunities.
Work with Commercial RMs and other internal referral sources to initiate contacts for developing and closing new sales.
Cross-sell Investment Advisors and other bank products.
Cultivate cross selling through referrals to Commercial, International, MPS, Treasury Management, F&E and Corporate Trust.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NA Job RequirementsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Five or more years of client relationship experience. Other experiences dealing directly with clients may be substituted. Possesses strong communication skills and has a good working knowledge of the company's products and services. Four-year degree preferred. CFA Preferred. E.O.E., M/F/D/V
