Description:

The SVP, Director of MCM will be responsible for building and leading a diverse, high performance team to support these efforts, both in the South and throughout the network.


The Individual

The candidate we want is an engaging leader. Office Management/Growth of Multicultural Marketing:


Work with KS Director to network with local office practice and client leaders and others to increase visibility of Multicultural Brand for KS

Participate in Best Teams across the Global Brand Practice, lead and contribute to new business efforts and provide senior level client counsel as necessary

Participate in senior leadership of KS as determined by Director

Attract new business and generate incremental new business opportunities

Function as lead player in pursuing new business opportunities and lead the proposal and presentation process (trains and encourages account teams on developing new business opportunities with clients)

Possess "vision" of practice area, and inspire others to execute that vision

Work with Human Resources Director in the appropriate handling of HR matters

Work with Financial Director to ensure time is properly entered, client budgets are comprehensive, actual costs are monitored, approved, billed and accounts receivables are collected in a timely fashion

Requirements:

At least 15 years of experience in Marketing/PR Leadership or Management role, a combination of agency and corporate experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field

Fully bilingual English/Spanish verbal and written

Proven strategic development and implementation, as well as general management experience

Track record of strong leadership and influencing skills, working across organizational boundaries

Strong leader with the interpersonal skills to deal effectively with colleagues and clients

Excellent public relations/marketing experience in international and domestic setting

Highly intelligent; possessing very strong critical thinking skills. Capable of assimilating the framework of products/services, value proposition and target markets

Ambitious, high personal goals; committed to making the company successful

An organized individual possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
