Position Summary

Vystar Credit Union, headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and one of the largest credit unions in the nation has an excellent opportunity for an experienced human resources professional. VyStar Credit Union is a $3 billion plus full service financial institution serving anyone living or working in a 15 county area of Northeast Florida, with expansion plans to serve this rapidly growing area of Florida. Present membership is almost 350,000 members with a growing workforce of approximately 1100 at present. This position reports directly to the President/CEO and is responsible for organizational design and development, recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, employee retention and training and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of short and long-range human resource strategic initiatives of the organization. The incumbent serves as a member of the Senior Management Team, develops and promotes strategic alliances between departments and works to help successfully execute the credit union’s strategic business plan.

Compensation

A compensation package consisting of base salary and benefits will be structured to meet the needs of the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have 7-10 years of Human Resource Management experience with demonstrated leadership skills and highly effective interpersonal communication and relationship skills. The incumbent will need to be knowledgeable of applicable federal and state regulations related to human resources. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management is required and an advanced degree is preferred.
