Senior Manager, Corporate Communications

Responsibilities:

Manage a network of public relations agencies and other professionals who support the company's external, internal and client communication.

Area of public relations responsibilities include news media relations, press releases, by-lined articles, other editorial services, and coordination of reprographics services.

Manage corporate news media relations activities.

Oversee internal and external personnel in the creation and production of newsletters for corporate, sales and worksite employees.

Responsible for guiding the Annual Report design. Works with Finance to direct the publication's design and presentation to senior management and to draft the narrative section. Coordinates scheduling, monitors printing and implements evaluation activities for the Annual Report.

Prepare, administers and monitors the budget as directed and approved for all public relations programming, and oversees budgeting activities for company newsletters.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL:

Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Communications field.

Five or more years experience in a communication environment plus supervisory experience is required.

Communicate tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.

Principles, practices, and procedures of public relations and publishing; ability to analyze, interpret, review and edit information to capture corporate image; ability to gather, organize and present information in a consistent manner.
