Description:

Manage the Global Business Development’s Branding and Strategic initiatives, working in partnership with Global Operations, New Market Development and US Brand teams. Able to conduct in-depth data analysis, develop strategic insights and translate them into successful marketing programs. Provide marketing consultation to Operations Team and Global Franchise Partners. Work with cross functional teams, internally and externally, to implement programs to achieve successful marketing support. Will require ability to prioritize project, sequence activities and manage deliverables that are aligned with regional priorities. Effectively manage third party vendors for creative and media development. Assume primary responsibility for marketing development, measurement of business impact and return on marketing investment. Ensure that brand marketing strategies are executed in-line with domestic brand equities. Responsible for managing Co-op Marketing Budgets and G&A Budget.

Relationship Building
• Nurture & establish positive & collaborative relationships with Global and US Brand Teams as well as cross functional teams. Establish and manage working relationships with all contracted third party vendors. Provide leadership, guidance and professional development for direct report(s) and peers.

Professional Consulting
• Become an expert in the consumer needs of your assigned global markets and act as an advisor to the Market Director and Global Partner.

Brand Development
• Lead development of insights, brand strategy, and marketing support programs for your assigned global markets. Also, help your markets align their marketing efforts with corporate marketing initiatives & activities and while being culturally & geographically relevant. Marketing activities would include insightful analyses, brand updates, promotional calendars, national media schedules, creative, etc.

Resource Management
Manage third party vendors and internal marketing resources through development & execution of superior marketing plans & process for assigned markets. Communicate pertinent information on the development & execution of marketing decisions & plans needed to align markets, brands and vendors. Manage billing process for all vendors.


Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, MBA preferred
• 10 years of progressive brand marketing experience
• Language skills a plus but not essential

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent understanding of branding, marketing and advertising principles
• Deep familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• High comfort level in ability to interpret and evaluate data, develop strategies and translate them into effective marketing programs
• Ability to identify business problems, needs, opportunities and threats; and creatively solve for them
• Ability to build rapport & relationships with variety of stakeholders with diverse cultural backgrounds, expertise & experiences
• Robust experience in selection and management of Third Party Vendors – Research, Advertising, PR and promotional based vendors.
• Ability to develop Annual Operation Plans
• Ability to meet timelines with minimal supervision
• Ability to use independent judgment to organize and prioritize work, manage resources to achieve financial goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated self-starter with a high energy level
• Ability to travel internationally (20-30%)
