For more information, visit http://www.genworth.com.In general, the position is a Relationship National Account Leader. Multi skills are required to deal both at an Account Executive / Leadership level as well as "in the Agency" with BGAs, their staff and brokers. Development of opportunities within the account to substantially increase life insurance results is the standard. Owns customer relationship across all products (Term, UL, LTC, Annuities) within the National Account customer group with primary focus on Fixed Life. Strategic customer planning and execution to grow share of wallet, identify growth opportunity, i.e., coordinate with W/S Ldr to engage W/S. Identify and grow BGA Key Accounts within customer group.
Create and deliver on 6 - 24 mth growth objectives with assigned customers.
Develop and achieve business and tactical plans with assigned strategic customer to execute wallet share objectives on all Genworth Life products.
Create and maintain growth-focused relationships with National Account Leadership, BGA Principals and staff.
Understand and communicate customer expectations within the business, measure results against best practices within industry and develop strategies to fill gaps and grow wallet share.
Take leadership role within Genworth to represent and be primary advocate for this strategic account to accelerate growth.BASIC CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: College degree or equivalent experience.
Relevant business experience (7-10 years) Sr Level Sales & Mktg exp.
Demonstrated ability developing plans with a National Account and their BGAs.
Demonstrated leadership ability, energy and performance excellence.
Working knowledge of pre/post issue service processing.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Competitive knowledge of financial services (companies & products).
Ability to work with National Account Leadership and BGA office Principals and staff.
Demonstrated planning, organization and execution skills.
Attained or actively pursuing, relevant financial services industry designations (CFP, CLU).
Variable prod exp, NASD Series 6,63 & 26 reqd; Series 7, 63 & 24 Prefd.
Life insurance licensed.
Professional Acumen with ability to lead in a boardroom environment.
Minimum 60% travel requiredPREFERRED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:Detailed knowledge of LTC & Annuity Products
