SVP, Production

Telepictures Productions Inc. seeks a Senior Vice President, Production for the Telepictures Productions Programming department. Position is a Senior Management of Telepictures Productions including advisement with respect to Production Budgeting & Finance, Studio Facilities, Program Distribution and production planning. Management and oversight of all Telepictures and related companies physical production including budgeting, staffing and studio facilities. Primary negotiator of all production related contracts and deals including staffing and studio facilities. Oversight of construction, administration, management and operations of all Telepictures owned and controlled facilities. Direct management of Directors of Productions and all series and projects Executives in Charge (EIC). Work closely with labor relations to formulate company’s positions on labor issues and, when required, participate in negotiation of collective bargaining agreements.
REQUIREMENTS
College degree in related field required. Knowledge of all aspects of video production from pre-production through post-production. Good communication and supervisory skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. At least 7 years experience as production manager or higher on network or nationally syndicated reality productions. General office activities: walking, standing, speaking, lifting, bending, sitting, finger manipulation, etc. Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person and on the telephone. Must be able to work well under time constraints in a fast paced environment. Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively. Must be detail-oriented. Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary. General office environment. Computer, printer, photocopy machine, fax machine, telephone, and etc.
