SALES ASSISTANT WANTED!!!
We are a leading supplier to national retail chains serving the home furnishings market and are located in Southern California. Our fast paced environment has a challenging opportunity for an experienced SALES ASSISTANT who is excited about bringing new ideas and positive energy to work. This person should thrive in a fast pace, high volume environment and possess a dedicated work ethic which includes punctuality and attendance.
Job Description:
-Supporting the relationship between outside Strategic Relationship Managers and external customers
-Provide general administrative support including drafting of agendas, correspondence, calendar management, and meeting coordinating.
-Manage customer data, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and sales reports.
-Develop and assemble complex proposals and contracts.
-Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
-Make outbound lead follow-up to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and hand them off to outside Strategic relationship Managers
-Coordinate travel arrangements, marketing and trade show events
-Maintaining department files and records
-Assist corporate executives in sales tracking, sales analysis, order tracking, and customer follow-up.
-Prepare trade show and sales presentation samples, brochures, price lists, and other logistics.
- Answer phones – take sales/parts orders.
REQUIREMENTS
Position Requirements:
-2+ years of experience in a support function within a sales environment
-Ability to work independently, multi-task, manage completing priorities and thrive in a fast paced ambiguous, environment
-Demonstrated Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
-Comfortable, confident and effective on the phone
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Outstanding attention to detail and strong follow-through skills
-Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self motivated & responsible
Skills/Qualifications:
Candidate should have excellent communication skills, be customer service oriented, strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, have speed and accuracy in data entry and the ability to work in fast pace environment. Must be proficient on Excel and 10 key by touch
