Regional Vice President of Human Resources

America's Premier Certified Organic Distributor® is seeking a Regional Vice President of Human Resources for its Eastern Region with the ability to identify and effectively address the critical human resource needs of the business.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelops and implements the HR strategy that positively impacts the business result.Develops programs, procedures and controls surrounding all facets of human resource administration, analyzes staffing, turnover and other human resource statistics.
Makes sound business decisions based on limited and/or complex information.
Leads efforts in creating and/or maintaining a proactive, positive culture.Provides HR generalist support and leadership as a key member of the business team.
Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships at all levels throughout the company that results in trust and confidence in the Department.
Pro-actively monitors internal and external changes in laws, policies, and practices to define and confront risk to employees and the business.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of HR generalist experience reflecting increasing responsibility with a proven track record of implementing both strategic & tactical programs. Well versed in core HR competencies including employee relations, labor relations, recruiting, performance management, training, and employment practices.
Incumbent must possess excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with superior communication and presentation skills. Must have the ability to establish credibility quickly in an environment of change.Bachelors Degree and advanced degree is a plus.Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) Certification is a plus.
