In addition, they must be familiar with the CA, WA, ID, and OR markets as well.Job summary:Reports to: Senior Vice President, OperationsJobs Reporting to this position: AdministratorsResponsible for overseeing the operations and financial management of surgical facilities, which includes assisting and supporting Administrators and their management team in regards to all business and clinical operations.Responsibilities and ExpectationsThe following description of the job responsibilities and performance expectations are intended to reflect the major responsibilities of the job, but is not intended to describe the minor duties or other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Ensure that USPI’s EDGETM is fully deployed within the Centers while helping to establish USPI’s EDGETM as the cornerstone for operational and financial processes.
Develop the leadership skills of the Administrators, enabling them to prioritize and execute the goals of the facility and provide the necessary guidance and feedback to their staff.
Motivate, encourage and assist in the professional development of Administrators and other site managers to advance their career path within USPI.
Monitor and oversee the Sales Plan for each facility as well as participate with the Sales Team in monthly sales calls.
Perform audits of facilities to ensure compliance regarding USPI’s policy and procedures as related to internal controls.
Visit all sites in assigned region on a regular basis to provide support.
Report the pertinent activities concerning the Centers in assigned region to home office and prioritize/coordinate all corporate resources as needed in order for the facilities to achieve goals/objectives.
Assist in appointment of an individual responsible for a Center when the Administrator is absent and act as interim Administrator during such an event.FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Oversee the regional budget development and ensure financial performance of the region meets or exceeds budgeted expectations.
Ensure appropriate management of case volume, net revenue per case, personnel expense and drugs/medical supplies.
Ensure all business offices functions are compliant with USPI’s EDGETM and Today’s Proven Process. See that Monthly Self Assessments are being performed by all Business Office Managers.DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT
Identify new growth opportunities in assigned markets and direct the growth of existing centers.
Assist USPI’s development team with projects in assigned region by coordinating new center development or acquisition transition.COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT
Facilitate communications between the healthcare partners, physicians and Administrators.
Attend and actively participate in the Centers’ Governing Board and partnership meetings.
Act as a liaison between healthcare system partner, USPI and the facilities. Organize and actively participate in quarterly partnership meetings with healthcare system partners.
Steer and focus Monthly Operations Review presentations and discussions.
Attend centers’ staff meetings as appropriate and present USPI’s goals and priorities, ensuring appropriate communication of USPI’s global objectives are understood by all staff members of the center.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in one of the health professions, business administration, public administration or other suitable field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum three years experience in a top administrative or management position in the ASC industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with healthcare partners, physicians, employees, patients and others.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedural manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts for the purpose of financial budgeting, reporting and analysis.
