The Regional Vice President of Learning and Development will oversee learning and development initiatives in Philadelphia Metro Region in order to help various business units maximize performance.REQUIREMENTS:

Responsible for consulting with business units and identifying performance improvements needs.

Responsible for developing initiatives and programs to help improve business results.

Responsible for supervising and developing training staff.

Coordinate and supervise learning and development activities.

Identify future trends and developments and develop long-term strategies.

Conduct training sessions and presentations to internal and external groups as needed.

Maximize performance improvement and R.O.I impact.

Motivate, coach, support and develop call center and technical training staff.

Keep abreast of cable and training "technology" changes and new methods for design, development, delivery and group facilitation through outside association contacts and publications.

Collaborate with Comcast University staff, senior management and other departments regarding training needs, design, development and delivery in order to create relevant solutions for business unit.

Direct the development of training modules (technical, customer service, safety, new products), when necessary, through in-house resources and outside consultants to address business unit/system needs, changing technology, and to ensure consistency with the Comcast Credo. Module deliverables to include: leader-led instruction (Leaders Guides and Student Manuals), Computer Based Training (CBT), Web Based Training (WBT), and hybrid courses consisting some or all of the above

Travel as required.

Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in organizational development or other training related coursework.

A minimum of 5-10 years experience in a senior training position in a business environment

Experience with design, development and implementation of training programs

Proven presentation and communications skills

Understanding of latest training trends and techniques as well as adult learning theory

Proven analytical skills
