REGIONAL PENSION VICE PRESIDENT

Responsible for achieving the Corporate Retirement Plan sales objectives in that territory
Preferred three years retirement plan field sales or equivalent experience
Life licensed, Series 7/63 registered (must achieve if not currently in place).
Responsibilities:
The Pension Vice President is responsible for achieving Retirement Plan sales objectives in an assigned territory. The Pension VP will be held accountable for Minimum Production Requirements based on the assigned territory’s base of production and the experience level of the Pension VP. The PVP will: Be responsible for recruiting and developing relationships with multiple plan producers. Provide Retirement Plan expertise, training, and sales assistance to agents and financial advisors and the appropriate Sales staffs in their territory. Participate in evaluating the problems and opportunities in their assigned territory, will participate in setting goals for that territory and will provide timely updates on goal achievement and recommended strategies for overcoming any shortfalls. Provide assistance in closing transactional opportunities in the assigned territory. Proactively manage all takeover opportunities in the assigned territory.Travel extensively in assigned territory for outside contact with agents, their clients and other financial advisors. The PVP will be responsible for building consistent referrals through other Symetra Distribution Channels. PVP’s will work as a team with assigned Corporate Plan Internal Wholesalers (CPIW’s) to deliver results from their assigned territories.
REQUIREMENTS
Preferred three years retirement plan field sales or equivalent experience. >li>University/College degree or equivalent experience required. Life licensed, Series 7/63 registered (must achieve if not currently in place). Demonstrate excellent verbal presentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate complex and technical Retirement Plan information. Proficient in computer skills, able to navigate the Internet and utilize Microsoft Office. Demonstrate effective time and territory management and organizational skills. Demonstrate ongoing self-development.
