The Department of Administration is seeking a Procurement Director to manage procurement activities associated with the establishment of contracts and/or purchases on behalf of all state agencies (i.e. ASA or QPA). This position is responsible for auditing and assessing the procurement activities, as well as to ensure all appropriate procurement statutes, administrative rules and policies are followed.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field plus a minimum of five years experience working within a complex, fast-paced environment. previous supervisory experience is required. Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and potential issues related to procurement, as well as the applicable statutes, administrative rules and regulations, policies and procedures related to procurement methods and requirements is necessary. Knowledge of service/commodity industries is helpful.
