Position Summary

People’s Community Partnership Federal Credit Union is seeking a visionary leader to oversee the credit union’s daily operations and strategic partnerships as their President/Chief Executive Officer. In conjunction with the Board of Directors, the selected executive will be responsible for directing, fund-raising, expanding and targeting the long and short-term goals of the credit union. Must have solid financial management and leadership skills, with a thorough understanding of the credit union’s charitable philosophy. Knowledge of not-for-profit organizations, excellent communication skills and leadership abilities are necessary. Five years of progressive management experience and Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is preferred.

People’s Community Partnership Federal Credit Union is a non-profit, community development financial institution that increases the community of Oakland’s use of, access to, and control over financial services. The credit union provides affordable financial services, as well as economic and financial education to a population typically served by predatory lenders and check cashing services rather than by traditional banks. People’s Community Partnership offers basic savings accounts, teller checks, direct deposit, and loans and most recently, cash services. They strive to offer loans to members whose credit history might disqualify them at other institutions by working with members to obtain credit counseling and financial education to improve their overall financial situation.

Compensation

A compensation package consisting of base salary and benefits will be structured to meet the needs of the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS
