Operations Manager

Nevada Automotive Test Center (“NATC”), located 30 miles East of Carson City, Nevada, performs a dual role as both a test facility and engineering center. NATC applies state of the art technologies to test and engineer light and heavy trucks, sport/utility vehicles, passenger cars, buses and numerous types of specialized vehicles. NATC is seeking an Operations Manager responsible for managing all hands-on operational aspects of the company. This individual will assist the President in the aggressive and successful growth of the company. The position requires the right person to provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency and is responsible for developing and directing procedures and methods to ensure quality assurance standards are met and maintained.

We are seeking candidates with a technical background with prior automotive field test experience, preferably automotive proving ground experience, and operations management experience who are able to manage technical as well as administrative details.

Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hiring and capable of receiving a DOD security clearance.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, or Design Engineering. 10 years of automotive systems and vehicle dynamics experience, 10 years of progressive experience in management positions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to read, analyze and interpret complex technical documents, and possess the ability to handle multiple priorities and to adjust to stressful situations and rapidly changing business conditions.
