OSU Director

Operational Support Unit Director -
Primary Purpose:
To ensure and manage Blackwater’s operational support unit. Coordinates assets needed to support recruitment and retention of independent contractors (“ICs”).

Essential Functions:
•Manage OSU recruitment teams to attract, screen, interview, and recruit ICs to fill professional and technical placement opportunities.
•Manage OSU detailing teams to match approved ICs with assignment opportunities.
•Interface with program managers to meet staffing needs for overseas positions.
•Work with executive team to develop long-range needs and implement new recruitment programs.
•Communicate changes in Blackwater IC policies and procedures and insure proper compliance is followed.
•Review and make recommendations to executive team for improvement of Blackwater policies, procedures, and practices pertaining to ICs.
•Participate in Job Fairs (college, military, etc)
•Project yearly OSU expenditures.
•Performs other duties as assigned or required.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS or equivalent is required, MBA and business experience strongly preferred. Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a supervisor, including supervising individuals engaged in activities related to area of expertise. Must possess excellent relationship management skills and be able to handle volume recruiting in a fast paced, unstructured environment while adhering to strict deadlines and aggressive growth targets. Must be able to travel to job fairs.
