Production Planning Master Planner Basic master planning responsibilities for both make-to-stock and make-to-order products for paint manufacturing facility: High number of products, relatively low level of complexity in terms of levels of planning. Forecasting & demand planning for stocked products. Set safety stock levels and batch sizes. Create production orders as needed. Coordinate with the finite scheduler. Manage inventory to include addressing aging product. Manage write-downs and inventory movements. Manage partials and rework. QUALIFICATIONS: BS preferred or equivalent work experience. Min. of 4 yrs experience. Strong problem solving and coordination skills. Need to excel in multi-tasking, fast moving environment. Strong computer skills to include Excel MRP planning experience, preferably in major ERP system such as Oracle 11i. Ability to communicate with internal and external customers. Detailed oriented. 5+ years experience in planning, inventory control and scheduling. APICS CPIM preferred Salary commensurate with experience/xlnt benefit package.
