Seven Studios, one of America’s most creative video game development companies is seeking a Director of Human Resources to help us manage our most important asset – our people. The successful candidate will have had personal, hands-on experience in the following areas and will develop these areas in the company. This is a true generalist human resources position.

Policies and Procedures
Will have established a comprehensive group of policies and procedures to best utilize the employees of the company and comply with all existing statues. Each manager in the company will participate in on-going training programs to familiarize them with these policies and procedures.

Employment
Will have established comprehensive employment policies and procedures utilizing behavior based selection techniques, limited pre-employment selection instruments, background and reference checks.

Compensation
Will have established and managed a comprehensive compensation program utilizing a point-based system of job evaluation. Will program base salary administration and compensation for multiple rate ranges.

Benefits & Pension
Will have established and managed a comprehensive benefits program including health and life insurance and a pension program including a 401(k) component.

Safety & Worker Compensation
Will have created and implemented a comprehensive safety program to control worker compensation costs and create an environment conducive to safe working conditions throughout the company.

Training and Organizational Development
Will have created and presented comprehensive training and organizational development programs centered on skills-based training. Areas of training will include basic procedural skills, computer skills, and progressive management skills.

Office Services
Will have been responsible for all home office administrative services including mail, reception, facilities and maintenance, parking and emergency procedures.
