Hospice Director

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic leader who can take our well established, highly regarded hospice program with an average daily census of 375 patients to the next level.

Description:

The Hospice Director is responsible for the overall management of services provided by the hospice program and for staff development and personnel management in all locations. Provides direction and supervision to the Lead Medical Director, Branch Managers, Family Support Services Manager, Pharmacy Program Coordinator, After Hours Program Manager and other designated clinical program and support personnel. Participates as a member of the Strategic Planning and Operations Leadership teams.
Is accountable for performance to program budget; manages program performance through development and monitoring of outcome measures and statistics and provides leadership in program planning and development activities as they relate to all hospice and volunteer services.

REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree required. Master's degree in health related field or business administration preferred. Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience within the past 10 years; a minimum of three of these years in a management/executive capacity. Strong communication and public speaking skills. Strong organizational skills. Must have the ability to perform effectively in a team environment. Possess and maintain a valid California Driver's license and required levels of automobile insurance.
