GL Senior Business Analyst - VP

Responsibilities: A world class investment bank in New York City seeks a Senior Business Analyst for their G/L Reference Data Group. The GL Reference Data Group ensures the integrity of General Ledger reference data (accounts, cost centers, and legal entities). This includes developing and enforcing GL reference data policy around definition, maintenance, and usage. The group also handles new requests for GL reference data (structures and attributes), manages the ongoing structures standardization process, and develops strategic initiatives pertaining to the automation and control of the structures and attributes maintenance processes. This position will define and maintain documentation of GL reference data standards, usage, policies, and procedures by working closely with the GL maintenance teams and Financial Controllers (including Corporate Reporting, Segment Controllers, Legal Entity Controllers, and Regulatory Controllers) as well as provide stakeholder management through building and managing relationships at all levels within the organization and through establishing appropriate communication structures. This position will develop the GL reference data training and communication strategy; working with the HR Learning and Development group and serve as central control of new GL reference data requests from various groups across the firm. This position will also develop and manage the process for new GL reverence data requests, independently perform business analysis responsibilities, and work closely with project teams for implementation and support efforts.
