Our survey division consists of multiple survey crews, land surveyors and a photogrammetry group. We provide comprehensive surveying services, including geodetic surveys, ALTA/ACSM surveys and as-built surveys, to public and private sector clients.

Vollmer's office in Winchester, Virginia seeks experienced surveyors to fill the following positions:
Field Crew Party Chief:
To be responsible for the planning and implementing of sound survey procedures, perform various types of field surveys and record data. Experienced in and able to train, supervise, and coordinate the efforts of the staff assigned to field crew. Must be proficient with data collectors, total stations (conventional and robotic) to make survey measurements, convey and report accurate survey information and data resulting from the work. GPS experience a plus. A High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years experience required.
Jr. Survey Crew Chief:
Seeking a qualified individual to fill this position requiring both outdoor field work & inside office work. We will train a capable graduate to perform field surveys and the related research & office computations associated with: control surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, construction stakeout and topographic mapping. Qualified candidates must be proficient, or capable of becoming proficient with data collectors, robotic total stations, GPS equipment & Land Development Desktop applications for AutoCAD. LSIT is preferred, B.S. or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering / Surveying is required. Since this position involves the supervision and coordination of staff assigned to the field crew, applicants should have some leadership experience.
