DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR The United Negro College Fund, Inc., the nation's oldest & most successful higher education assistance organization, is seeking a Development Director for its Los Angeles area office. The candidate will support the Area Development Director in executing annual fund raising campaigns from various sources with emphasis on corporations, foundations and individuals. Duties would also include research and development of donor prospects and special event management. Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years proven success in fundraising. Familiarity with the Los Angeles fundraising and philanthropic arena is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and community relations experience, leadership experience and volunteer management experience required.
