Job Description:
Responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction and team goals using guest tracking as a tool for continuous improvement. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness & maintenance standards in the suite as well as cleanliness standards in all other public areas. Work with the hotel management team to ensure the suite works in an environment of teamwork and continuos improvement.
Technical Skill Requirements:Ability to perform all housekeeping duties to include: cleaning rooms general maintenance, laundry, housekeeping aide, inventory and ordering.
Familiar with frequently used Standard Operations Procedures.
Familiar with all System Standards.
Ability to train all positions within the department utilizing property specific training outlines.Hospitality Skills Requirements for Internal and External Customers:Professionalism and courtesy are to be extended at all times to guests, associates and vendors.
Guests should be professionally greeted within 5ft. of your area when in public areas of the hotel.
Personal/business conversations among associates to be stopped in order to assist guest.
Associates should take initiative to offer assistance or answer questions throughout the hotel.
Associates should remain highly visible and be readily available for guests at all times.
Associates should always demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
Associates are equally responsible for their continuous training/personal development, especially professional hospitality skills and proactive approaches to solve guest or hotel concerns.
Associates should take responsibility to formally or informally learn about other departments within the hotel. Cross train.
Associates are encouraged to offer improvement ideas and acknowledge good performance of others.
Use empowerment to exceed associate/guest expectations and resolve conflict.

REQUIREMENTS
Leadership Skills Requirements:1.The supervisor will be responsible for achievement of the following goals:Suite Care (Housekeeping/Engineering) budget achievement of productivity.
Overall assurance of quality in technical skills and hospitality standards.
Lead team to ensure that the Suite Care department achieves or exceeds guest’s service expectations through Guest Satisfaction Survey Results.
2.The Supervisor will be responsible for communication of results/information/company values:
Daily/weekly reporting of the Suite Care Team results vs. goals in weekly Continuous Improvement Meetings (CIM) (written and/or verbal presentations).
Share all performance expectations and results with associates.
Lead by example and demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
Ensure high visibility in all areas of Suite Care.
Motivate and provide a work environment, which fosters productive teamwork and encourages associates to become involved in solving guest and associates related concerns.
Exemplify and communicate Marriott’s guiding principles of management.
Perform required number of room audits, tracking trends vs. guest tracking results.
3.The Supervisor will be responsible for associates training and development:
Involvement in interviewing and selection process of potential new hires.
Ensure continuous training and personal development of associates in:Professional hospitality
technical skills (training matrix)
team skills (training matrix)
oactive approach to solve guest or hotel concerns
(Training should include anything that increases value to our company, hotel, guests or associates)Ensure continuous cross training within the Suite Care area and provide cross-training opportunities for associates throughout the hotel based on results of each team member’s training matrix.
4.The Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling:
Scheduling to ensure correct staffing levels, to meet demands of associates and guests.
Scheduling of associates using daily/weekly MHPOR guidelines.
Scheduling themselves for a portion of associate’s daily duties based on customer demand.
5.The Supervisor will be responsible for associates recognition:
Constant recognition of good performance of team/associates.
Effectively respond to team or personal conflicts and show leadership in managing a culturally diverse work environment.
6.The Supervisor will also be expected to pursue additional personal development in order to become proficient in management skills in other areas of the hotel.Daily Responsibilities:Verify number of team members against the number of rooms to be cleaned today to achieve productivity goals.
Assign responsibilities to team members.
