Enterprise Business Analyst-VP
Employment Type: Regular Full/Part Time: Full Time Division: IT Location: FIFTH THIRD CENTER, CINCINNATI, OHGENERAL FUNCTION:
Serves as a liaison between IT, Operations and the business line to analyze non-standard business and user needs, document requirements, and devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems. Coordinates development and support for new and existing applications. Possess a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Provides overall direction to the team.
The position is on the Technical/Professional ladder at level 6 in the Business Analysis discipline.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Functions as the liaison between the business line, Operations and the technical areas throughout the project cycle.
2. Directs team members in planning, testing and implementation of system enhancements or new systems.
3. Develops strategic partnerships with the business unit to establish a solid LOB knowledge, including the business plan, products, services, processes and revenue streams.
4. Partners with the technical areas in the research and resolution of system and process problems.
5. Identifies, researches and analyzes production problems, develops solutions and resolves problems.
6. Identifies system enhancements, documents business needs and determines development impact to current system processing. Works with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of enhancements.
7. Reviews operational procedures and methods and recommends changes for improvement, with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
8. Directs team members in planning, testing and implementation of system enhancements or new systems.
9. Provides input into the creation of detailed project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects.
10. Functions as a senior technical/business expert in the analysis, design, selection, modification and implementation of primary business products and major systems.
11. Other duties as required.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:None Job RequirementsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Undergraduate degree or equivalent, with 10 or more years of experience. PM Methodology SDLS/Testing QA Experience. Experience in the Electronic Funds Transfer arena required.Preferred:
