Director of Business Operations

Seeking an experienced director of business operations for one of the largest churches in America (The Potter's House). The pastor (Pastor T.D. Jakes) is an internationally known speaker and leader that is well respected all around the world. This person must have ten years of management experience at the top of a medium to large size company. The position directs, administers and coordinates the activities of the organization in support of policies, goals and objectives established by the Chief Operations Officer. Manages four subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 110 employees in the Administration, Human Resources, Community & Corporate Development, M.E.D.C and Donor Relations Program Director. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises one non-supervisory employee. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
