Beaverton, Oregon. Providence Murray Business Center, Health Plans General Administration. Position is full-time, exempt, days. Requirements and Preferred Skills: Bachelors degree in business administration, health care administration, or equivalent required. Masters degree preferred. Five to ten years progressively responsible experience in managed health care, three to five years of which includes management level experience in PPO product development, operations, and payor relations; provider relations and/or network development for HMO, PPO, and MCO products; and negotiating risk agreements with IPAs, medical groups, independent physicians, hospitals, health systems, and physician hospital organizations. Valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation. Exceptional oral (public speaking) and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate to a wide variety of audiences. Exceptional negotiation skills and keen political savvy. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated ability to organize work priorities and exercise initiative. Demonstrated leadership and follow through. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others. Demonstrated ability to uphold the mission of the Sisters of Providence with exceptional professional conduct. Capability to operate and adapt in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.
This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of a Providence Health Plan-affiliated network of health care providers for all health plan products -- HMO, PPO, and MCO. The Director is responsible for the ongoing strategic relationship between the Health Plan and its network partners, and plays a pivotal role in developing risk relationships and other integration relationships with sponsoring delivery systems to achieve best results. This position oversees servicing the network relationships through the field and operations support of the Provider Relations Department.The Director also oversees the Health Plan payor relations functions responsible for developing, negotiating, and servicing PPO and HMO-wholesale contracts with insurance companies, TPAs and other regional and national provider networks.Pleaseclick on the following link to apply online at our career site referencing job#43569
