DIRECTOR HUMAN SERVICES The Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency currently has an opening for a Director, responsible for the leadership of Human Services Branch, including: CalWorks, Child Welfare Services, Aging, Adult Services, Public Guardian & Veteran's Services. RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE: * Plan, organize, coordinate & direct various functions, staff, & community resource groups within the Human Services Branch. * Comprehend, develop, implement & interpret policies & procedures & legislative materials. * Establish & maintain respect, confidence, cooperation & an effective working relationship with departmental staff, governmental agencies, community organizations & the general public. * Budget preparation & fiscal & grant management. EDUCATION: Equiv to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in social work, public or business admin or related field. EXPERIENCE: Five yrs of increasingly responsible supervisory, admin or Managerial experience related to budget development & admin, mgmt, personnel practices, public assistance program evaluation, policy development, & the planning, organizing & directing depts similar to Cal Works, Child Welfare Services, Adult Services & Aging, along with Public Guardian & Veteran's services.
