setting policies and standards, development of systems and supervision of management personnel.
Responsibilities include budget management, ability to direct and manage complex projects, participate in teams and
coordinate HIM activities in support of the mission of the hospital.
Serves as a consultant to administration, the medical staff and other departments and services in matters relating

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:Must be an RHIA/RHIT with 5 plus years managerial experience in Health Information Management, masters in related field preferred.Knowledge of financial reimbursement and information technology as it applies to the electronic health record is a must.Experience with JCAHO and Department of Health processes, change management and compliance with state and federal regualtions is required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must have ability to establish liaisons and interact professionally with internal and external constituencies.
