DIRECTOR, CLINICAL QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT

POSITION PURPOSE

Provides leadership and
operational support for the measurement and improvement of clinical
quality. This work is closely linked to the transformation of clinical
processes and integration of those processes with system wide
information technology in order to achieve patient-centered care across
the system. This transformed patient-centered care will increase the
organization's ability to provide safe, effective, efficient, and best
practice clinical care across the continuum.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must
possess advanced clinical analytical skills normally obtained through a
Master's Degree or higher, and five to ten years of related clinical
analytical experience. Strong management and leadership experience is highly desirable. The successful candidate must possess strong demonstrable statistical skills. The successful candidate must possess strong demonstrable process analytical skills. Must
possess two or more years of experience in managing performance
improvement activities, including analyzing clinical workflow
processes. Familiar with information systems, clinical
software, decision support software, statistical software (prefer
SPSS), and other computer applications. Prior experience and knowledge of Cerner Power Chart functionality is desired. Must
possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation
skills, advanced analytical skills, be well organized, and maintain a
highly professional manner and appearance. Demonstrated ability to operate in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. REQUIREMENTS
