Crew Chief With IDOT Experience

Purpose: This firm, located in downtown Chicago, is a minority owned firm, specializing in a vast number of different types of roadway projects. This firm is looking to add a crew chief in the near future. They are looking for a candidate with preferably 5 years of experience. This firm would prefer to bring on an individual with IDOT experience.

The responsibilities of this position will be to supervise and manage the crew throughout various work sites in the Chicagoland area

Ideally, a candidate will have a bachelors degree in either surveying or civil engineering.

This is not a dead end opportunity, there will be a lot of opportunity and room to move within the company in the near future.

Candidates will be looking at topographic, boundary, and Platt surveys on a daily basis. The key to this position is to have a candidate who is familiar with and comfortable with all IDOT regulations.

Experience with GPS equipment is a major plus for this position, but it is not a requirement.

This is a position where a candidate can have the opportunity to move up within a company in a short period of time. This company is looking for an individual who will be a hard worker and doesn't want to settle for only the crew chief opportunity.

This is an immediate need within the company. Qualified candidates will be able to interview and start immediately. This is an opportunity that will be based downtown but the position will entail work all over the Chicagoland area.

Compensation:
$20-25 Hour
