Conduit Compliance and Risk Officer
Countrywide’s Treasury Corp. is responsible for providing and managing liquidity for the company's business needs.
The Conduit Compliance and Risk Officer is responsible for ensuring that all compliance requirements are met and risk controls are enforced for Treasury Structured Finance (TSF) funding conduits.
Primary responsibilities include:

Work with Treasury Structured Finance (TSF) Deal Structuring Team to identify, track and compile all provisions/amendments/requirements related to secured funding vehicles. Review facilities documents to identify and ensure that provisions/amendments are properly implemented.

Develop Master Policies & Procedures Manual that encompasses all business units involved with TSF Conduit Facilities.

Maintain compliance schedules and deliver compliance documents required for secured finance vehicles. Act as liaison with internal clients to ensure proper implementation of required compliance provisions for programs supervised by TSF.

Track and compile master list of Internal/External Audit questions, reviews and directives, and assist with management responses and tracking of follow-up items.

Ensure that all risks and controls relating to specific department functions are identified and, if required, documented within Countrywide Organizational Risk Assessment Database (CORAD).

Act as TSF liaison with internal Audit. Develop, review and edit policies and procedures that govern the management and operation of funding vehicles and corporate cash management. Perform and document required internal control tests. Identify potential audit issues.
A successful candidate will have:

Degree in Accounting, Business or related field.

Be detail oriented.

Minimum 3 years audit, accounting or paralegal experience.

Experience reviewing business finance documents.

Familiarity with facility documents that govern structured finance vehicles a plus experience or related experience.
