Under the supervision of the Director, Radiologic Services, the Chief Technologist gives work direction to assigned personnel and participates in the operation of providing computer tomography scanning services to both inpatients and outpatients of all ages; performs duties of Radiologic Technologist as necessary; participates in Radiologic Services Quality Assurance Committee with applicable indicators submitted as scheduled; and participates in hospital based TQM/CQI activities as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be graduate of AMA approved program and hold one of the A.R.R.T. registries (i.e., Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Computerized Tomography) and be an active license holder in state of Illinois.Must successfully complete and maintain CPR certification.Minimum of two years experience as a staff technologist required; some supervisory experience desired.Must have thorough knowledge of the sophisticated equipment utilized in CT scanning; be aggressive with ability to work under pressure; and have ability to react quickly and accurately to problem situations.What’s inside you?
