Key Objectives:
• Lead and develop IT Risk Consulting function by adopting world class governance, core processes and by recruiting and developing the right skills & management.
• Lead a team tasked with leading initiatives to reduce the level of IT risk across various business units.
• Implement the Security Program’s risk and control framework and global IT Risk strategy and ensure early recognition of new IT developments and/or risks. Ensure that core IT processes meet business and regulatory control objectives (ICF, SOX, HIPPA, GLBA etc.)
• Provide support, coaching and consulting to new Security Program initiatives and projects to ensure alignment and compliance of these projects/initiatives with the Security Program risk and control framework. Ensure adherence thru auditing and review of critical projects, applications and/or processes.
• Proactively conceptualize the business strategy on a local and on a global basis to reflect it with the current risk appetite of the business units.
• Network with business leaders (e.g. CEO) to bring the risk appetite in synch with the existing risk landscape. Actively consult the business on risk decisions.
• Building upon concepts and business strategy to enforce the mitigation of risk above the accepted level.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

-8+ years experience in security, risk or auditing practices.
- Experience managing a team of 8-10 in previous roles.
-The candidate will have held program and personnel management responsibilities for security or IT Risk related disciplines within another institution.
-In depth knowledge of current security solutions and practices to include COSO and CobiT.
-In depth knowledge and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements and their relationship to relevant business practices and IT controls.
-Sound understanding of the analysis and presentation of control risk information.
-Bachelor’s and Master's degree preferred, or other professional qualifications.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills a must and strong interpersonal skills essential.
-Strong relationship management skills necessary.
