Chief Engineer/Mechanical
Senior management position directing all Engineering work for materials handling systems and equipment in fields under employee qualifications.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direction of all project engineers’ activities.
Interface with customer/supplier & field services.
Project related communications with other company departments.
Addressing department human resources issues.
Management supervision position.
Department budgets and schedules.
Reporting to upper mgmt. on all project issues.
Overall responsibility for dept. contract & specification issues.
Decisions & recommendations on capital expenditures and research & development projects.





JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
BSME, BSCE, BSIE or equivalent technical degree.
Minimum 10 years experience in lead design & estimating of industrial equipment in one or more of the following field: Robotics, automation, unit handing, bulk handling, chain conveyor systems, electrical monorails, design of castings & forgings and mfg. processes, AGVS & AS/RS.
Minimum 5 years project supervision/responsibilities in above fields.
Requires strong communication skills for customer/supplier capability.
Requires knowledge of and experience using CAE equipment.
Requires minimum of 7 years direct experience with materials handling equipment.
Professional engineering license desired.
Highly skilled position emphasizing design supervision, experience and technical capability.
